Meet Chrissy Cares
Chrissy is an experienced care and support professional, and holds a diploma in nursing, a basic ambulance assistant certificate and an advanced medication level 2 certificate. She is an extremely kind, compassionate and caring person, who has worked with those living with dementia, people with complex needs, and people receiving palliative care.
From her experience of supporting people to thrive at home as a BelleVie Wellbeing Support Worker, she identified a need for nail care, something that is often overlooked until intervention is needed. To address this need, Chrissy took part in “Nail Care Awareness in Life Changing Situations” training course. As a result, she is now qualified to cut both fingernails and toenails. She did this to be able to provide this service for the people BelleVie support in a familiar, trusting environment. In line with BelleVie’s values, Chrissy Cares offers compassionate communication, and an enjoyable visit that isn’t rushed. The home visits are an hour of pampering, and an opportunity to relax and unwind.
