UPDATE COVID-19: Wellbeing Support Workers  make the difference, enabling  people to stay  safely at home, or have a  safe  discharge  from hospital. We provide full protective  equipment, and have strict guidelines to protect both Wellbeing Support Workers and people we support. Our Wellbeing Support Workers get tests for COVID-19 every week.

Pay: Monthly salary equivalent to £11 per hour, with guaranteed shifts (paid travel time and gaps in between visits).

Workplace: within the local community in Oxford or Abingdon. Applicants need to be able to drive and have access to a car.

Hours of work: We are flexible. This role can be part-time or full-time, and the hours will be negotiated with the successful candidates.

Wellbeing Support Workers do whatever it takes to support people to live well at home and be part of their community. We provide you with all the training you need to support people to make the most of their day - from helping people get up and going in the morning, taking medication and getting dressed, to getting out and about and doing more of what matters to them.
Wellbeing Support Workers work in small, local, self-managing teams, with paid time for weekly meetings and buddy time to support each other.

"Being part of a small self managing team has allowed me to connect with my colleagues like family. We have weekly team meetings so we are able to make decisions to ensure we are offering the best support to the people, share ideas, acknowledge things that have worked/haven't worked well and support each other. Assisting people to live out their life choices feels so rewarding as well as carrying out every day essential tasks. I love to make a difference to our elderly community and spread happiness throughout the community." Gemma, Wellbeing Support Worker
