A huge thank you to all of BelleVie’s teams across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Northumberland — your care, creativity, and commitment have delivered another incredible success story as BelleVie proudly took home three major awards at the National Home Care Awards 2026:
🏆 Best for Recruitment, Retention and Staff Motivation
🏆 Best for Sustainability Initiative
🏆 GOLD for Most Outstanding Independent Homecare Provider
Each award celebrates a different part of what makes BelleVie unique.
Our win for Recruitment, Retention and Staff Motivation recognises the way we recruit differently. Instead of relying on CVs and formal interviews, we focus on people — their values, strengths, and how well they align with our culture. Our TeamFit personality and values survey helps us build supportive, self-managing teams made up of people who truly share our purpose. With this approach, our staff retention rate is twice the care sector average, showing the strength of belonging and motivation within our teams.
The Sustainability Initiative Award honours our commitment to caring not only for the people who need support, but for their families, our employees, local communities, and the planet. As a proud certified B Corporation (B Corp), BelleVie meets the highest standards of social and environmental performance. We’re also one of just 3% of B Corps worldwide operating in care, and part of a global community of over 10,500 certified organisations across 163 sectors working to use business as a force for good.
Finally, being named GOLD Winner for Most Outstanding Independent Homecare Provider is an especially meaningful highlight. This national recognition shows that BelleVie’s model of community-based, self-managing teams truly delivers — putting wellbeing and outcomes ahead of tasks and time.
“Being named the best independent home care provider in the country is wonderful validation of our model,” said Trudie Fell, BelleVie’s CEO and Founder. “When you empower local teams to focus on relationships and outcomes, everyone benefits — the people we support, our employees, and our communities.”
Representing BelleVie at the awards ceremony was Desiree, a Wellbeing Support Worker from one of our Oxford teams, who joined Trudie to collect the trophies. Desiree’s compassion and dedication over the past two years perfectly reflect what BelleVie stands for.
Congratulations again to all our teams — and to the other winners and finalists who are raising standards across the sector. It was wonderful to celebrate so many positive stories in home care. 💚
