Beverley And Michelle celebrating at the awards evening together

We couldn't be happier to announce that we were Finalists in the Regional Great British Care Awards!

Our teams who cover Northumberland and Newcastle felt proud and appreciated when they heard they were finalists in the North East Great British Care Awards.

Our BelleVie representation for the ceremony was none other than our brilliant North East Wellbeing Support Lead Beverley Beresford, together with the ball of energy who is Michelle Bell from our Hexham Team!

Dan Formby nominated as a Finalist in the Workplace Development Award!

Dan Formby’s nomination for the Workplace Development Award recognises the lasting impact he has had on how learning and progression are embedded at BelleVie—not as a perk, but as part of everyday working life.

As Operations Leader, Dan has transformed access to development in a sector where opportunities are often limited. By securing apprenticeship partnerships despite BelleVie being outside the levy, he opened funded learning pathways from Level 2 through to postgraduate study—enabling colleagues of all ages and backgrounds to progress their careers. Today, apprenticeships at BelleVie span frontline care, leadership, HR and sustainability, with growing participation and successful completions already demonstrating long-term value.

It’s this sustained, people-led approach to workforce development that makes Dan a standout finalist for the Workplace Development Award.

Massive Congratulations to all the finalists and of course winners, we were honoured to have been included!
